I thought Jurgen was trying to build up the Besler/Gonzo pairing with a few more matches. Goodson was a mile from his mark on the Honduras goal off the set piece in the semi-final......Blas Perez will be a handful for whoever starts...wish it was Omar. would've preferred Gonzo to start as well but Goodson was freaking great today and then bringing Gonzo in late really preserved the win as he was super fresh and headed out every ball. I gotta give it up to Klinsmann today and, really, all tourney. pulled all the right strings
Yep. Great subbing this tourney. Not sure why Gonzalez didn't play more after getting called in other than Jurgen seems to be very keen of chemistry and perhaps liked that combo a little more.
